Danish Crown Foods in Jönköping processes and packages meat which is then distributed to stores belonging to Axfood. The Jönköping facility was commissioned in 2009 and they have been a customer of ours at NPP for over a year now.
Per Andersson, Electrical Manager at Danish Crown tells us that the reason why they need special cabinets and contacted NPP is because they have high and special requirements for their electrical cabinets: "We have an incredibly exposed environment where we, among other things, run with the high-pressure washer very often, which places high demands on the tightness. Then our premises are both cooled and heated, which also places high demands on the material of the cupboards" . To begin with, they needed a few different smaller cabinets, to then take it on to larger special cabinets.
What are the advantages of the special cabinets?
" It is partly that we can order the exact measurements we need, but above all that they can handle our surroundings and that you can adapt them to the environment they will be in. The flexibility is good. Sometimes high requirements are required and sometimes a little less”.
Per thinks the collaboration with NPP has worked well. He thinks it's nice to be able to brainstorm ideas. "In addition, NPP are always available and easy to get hold of, which is very much appreciated," concludes Per.
