Pacetells

Pacetell manufactures digital speed displays, signs and accessories with the aim of getting motorists to reduce their speed. They have been operating since 2013 and Peter Skörvald who is the innovator behind the company had worked in the electronics industry for 30 years before starting the company.

Pacetell has been a customer of ours at NPP in recent years and we make the cabinets that the technology is in, as well as install it. After that, we test the final product so that everything works. " NPP are very good at cabinets, you really know your stuff," says Peter Skörvald. He thinks that the collaboration with NPP works very well : "It is very practical to be able to hand over a simple sketch with the most important functions and dimensions and then get back a nice drawing in 3D. NPP often comes up with their own suggestions for improvements and changes to our sketch and then we play together until we have a finished sketch of a good product. Then you are also very accommodating and flexible, for example, when we have a problem with deliveries, NPP solves it, which is very nice to know" .

What is important to consider when buying cabinets for your business, what do they need to be able to handle?
" We have to have cabinets that are tight, that's very important!" says Peter and continues: "As the cabinets are openable, the sealing is incredibly important and NPP has a good machine for this" .

What is the next step?
" We are currently looking at a small box to put by the side of the road that can provide statistics on the speed of the cars" .
