Centralmontage

Centralmontage is located in Nyköping and sells, designs and manufactures customized electrical switchboards and cable cabinets. The company previously had problems with the cabinet they needed not being on the market. They needed a cabinet where they could unite two different types of central systems; clips and standard products. Therefore, they started looking at different solutions, where the choice finally fell on the NPP.

Together with NPP, Centralmontage has developed and further developed a solution that suits their needs. They can now switch to smaller components in the same enclosure and combine them in the same system.

"We had clear requirements for what we needed to fit in the box, what requirements for which cables it should be prepared for, and the dimensions. In terms of design and appearance, however, we were open to suggestions," says Ola Birath at Centralmontage and continues: " After that, we got back sketches of various proposals that we then bounced back and forth until we were satisfied."

What is important to consider when buying cabinets for your business?
"What is important to us is that the solution must be adapted to the Swedish market and the requirements that exist in the electricity market here," says Ola.

How has the collaboration with NPP worked?
"It has worked very well. Everyone at NPP is good at listening and taking in what needs and wishes we have. We've consistently had a very good dialogue and when we've had to adjust something, we've talked directly with the designers, which makes it easier," says Ola and continues: " For us, solution, quality and flexibility are important, and we've achieved all those aspects NPP”.

What are the advantages of the special cabinets?
“That you can get it exactly the way you want it. With standard solutions you almost always have to compromise, but this is not necessary with special products. Now we can tailor our cabinets exactly the way we want them so that they both look the way we want and get what we need in".
