Cyklop AB manufactures machines that package goods. With their products, they make it easier and more efficient for their customers to distribute products or other goods. Their customers are found all over the world and operate in many different industries and areas, where a large part is in industries and the food industry. Cyklop has been a customer of NPP for many years and they buy enclosures for their machines from us.
"We have a very good collaboration with NPP, where together we have developed a good and cost-effective solution. We get the product delivered to us exactly as we want it and it is ready to use immediately," says Benny Johansson, Purchasing Manager at Cyklop.
Benny points out that the biggest advantage for them is the joint effort towards a good product and is a big reason why they chose NPP: " We have always had a close collaboration with NPP where we can come up with a simple sketch and then they come back with suggestions for changes and improvements to optimize the finished product, perhaps to be more cost-effective or with improved user-friendliness. Precisely this communication and understanding of our business is very important to us".
Cyklop could buy standard cabinets for their machines, but Benny believes that the biggest advantage of buying special products is that they can use the product immediately when they receive it as it is completely adapted to their machines and thus ready to use. They don't have to make their own holes or other adaptations that could, for example, damage the paint.
"The fact that the enclosures are prepared for our machines makes it incredibly easy for us, the holes are made and we only need to take care of the assembly. We build a lot into the cabinets, so it's good that they are prepared so that we don't have to do anything other than assemble".
The next step
Benny tells us that they are constantly working on developing and improving their machines. Right now, they are looking at whether it is possible to get more solutions into the enclosures they have today.
